Quality Assurance

Our primary mechanism of monitoring quality is the individual performing the work. This lends itself to a reduced cost because there are no layers of mangers and vice presidents reviewing products and slowing down the process without adding any real value. We use the individual performing the work as a primary quality monitor because we take care in hiring talented individuals who can provide the initial round of review. In addition to that individual, we feel that products that are being delivered to the customer should also have a second round of review. This responsibility is performed by another employee who is also a subject matter expert on the product being delivered.

Although our primary approach to quality is to discover any issue before delivery, we recognize that unexpected situations can occur. If there is an issue with the quality of a delivered product, everyone involved performs an assessment to determine how to prevent future issues. Once an issue has been resolved and we have determined how to prevent future incidences, this information is communicated throughout the company so that the same mistake doesn't occur again. This approach has been employed successfully on previous contracts and provides for a sustained high level of performance while keeping the management burden low.

Maintaining and monitoring quality amongst team members can be challenging. When working with other team members we delegate quality monitoring authority to the other company for their work. However, the prime contractor is always accountable for insuring that accurate products are delivered. We employ the same issue assessment and resolution with our team members as we do with our own company.
